Yet Another Bug.... I Think

It's a gorgeous, warm, sunny day outside.

I sit inside, at my computer, eating a bowl of cereal at 3:55 p.m.

Why? It appears I have come down with another bug. Remember the bronchial bug from several weeks ago? Well, it seems he must have passed on the news of a good huntin' grounds to his cousin. Or something.

Could simply be more allergies, I guess. In fact, I guess that's the most likely explanation. Which is why I'm inside trying to breathe somewhat uncorrupted air, rather than out enjoying the nice day. What I do know for sure is: it absolutely sucks. All of my airways feel like they've been stuffed with cotton candy, and no, it's not of a flavor you'd care to have me describe here. Occasionally I get to cough so hard it wrenches the muscles in my lower back. Clear watery snot will suddenly come pouring out of my nose without warning. Every so often I'll do a triple set of sneezes that feel like they're removing the first couple of layers of skin off the back of my throat.

I know, I know: Wah.

But just let me say: this has been the worst allergy season I've ever been through. It has been a true and unwavering bitch. Is this what we have to look forward to every spring, now, as global warming makes our world tiny bit by tiny bit more intolerable in a whole host of subtle ways? I hope not. But I am afraid that that is, indeed, what's going on here.

Another season or two like this and I'll be ready for Belize. That's for certain.

Just thought I'd do the "misery loves company" thing with you all.

You should seriously consider trying the bee pollen. It helped me a lot. Get local if you can.
