Oh Safeway, You're Too Kind

Just filled up the tank at my local Safeway. Needed 12 or so gallons, so my total bill was $45.77 or so. But! Because I am (or soon to be, maybe, was) a loyal Safeway shopper, I had swiped my Safeway card before the transaction and was able to save 3 cents per gallon! Yee-haw! Yippee! Wooooo-hoooo! Man, I am IN the MONEY!! On a total expenditure of almost $50, I saved, uhm.... 36 cents. Like, a quarter, a dime and a penny.

Doesn't sound like much, does it? Well, think of it this way: If I save this much the next ten times I fill my tank (total, around $500), I'll almost be able to buy one of Safeway's deli sandwiches.

Man, I'd better get driving. I'm hungry now.
