Well! I could hardly believe it this morning when, less than two hours after I first posted "Big Fat Belkin Bastards", I was contacted by someone named Melody from Belkin, asking for more info (see comments after first entry). We took our discussion off the blog and I am amazed to report that within a few hours I had the promise of a full refund from Belkin! All I must do is provide them with a copy of my receipt. They're not even asking for their crappy cable back! (Course, why would they want it? They already know it's crap.)
So--wait breathlessly, blogodytes. I will keep you updated on the drama as it unfolds.
I have to say, at this point, that evidently not everyone who works at Belkin is a BFB, as I had earlier surmised. Their spin team is right on the ball. I wonder how many complaints they get like this every day. I wonder if the "class action lawsuit" wording helped get their attention. Hmmm.
